“I just want to do what I want, and get paid to do it. If it’s good or evil, I’m happy it lines up with what you need. You just do whatever you want. Mote it be, and all that.”
MORRIGAN
My name is Morrigan Lock. I was born in southern California, and all I want to do is write and make art. That’s what brings me joy. I returned to the west coast and moved to Hollywood in 2022, where I spent a year being homeless around the Hollywood area.
At first, I was homeless out of personal preference. I don’t like playing House. I hate being told what to do. I thought I was this all powerful, invincible, super guy who could just handle anything.
Only to realize I’d been running away from so much. Call it what you want, but I just didn’t understand what compels people to hide inside the House.
I wanted to create something outside of the House. Art that doesn’t ask permission to exist, or require others to thrive. In this world, there are things that grow and live without you ever knowing. There are beauties and horrors beyond your imagination. This world is beautiful and full of wonders, both dark and light. I want to paint with them both, and find the colors where I can exist too.
And then it happened. I wanted a House of my own. I wanted so badly to protect and grow not just my own dreams, but the bodies and minds of others too.
It wasn’t just a House anymore.
And that meant I wasn’t just an Artist anymore.

the RED and Black
We have committed to following a particular aesthetic, a combination of the colors Red and Black.
Black. The darkness all things are born in, and the place of dreams. In the space of blackness, monsters may hide, but dreams become reality. Movies and films occur in the darkness. Anything can happen here.
It is everything and nothing; the infinite potential and the bottom line.
Red. A color of warmth, fury, and passion. The color of fire, the screams that tear from within. Red is a color of release, a primordial urge. The color of blood and pain, but also love and change. Within this color, the heart beats for another day. It’s a wavelength we not only wish to embody, but create a rhythm that demands to move forward.
Together, they compose a song that we want to sing, and add another lyric into the grand verse that composes our world.
Life, death, and the screams inside of us that want to dance.
Let’s go.
